Verdi will remain with Pius Schwizer 10/1/2012

Exciting news for Pius Schwizer with the knowledge that his super horse, Verdi will continue to be ridden by Schwizer, at least for the next two years. The 10 year old mare, Verdi III was previously owned by Max Hauri, who indeed had received many worthwhile offers. Now, the new owners Andrea Murphy and Kevin Murphy have guaranteed Pius Schwizer the ride for the next couple of years. "I am delighted that this great horse stays with me in the future. I can continue to count of Verdi, which is very important for my planning" said Pius Schwizer on New Year's day. Though Verdi has even more potential for development Schwizer won with him last season, and finished the spectacular Paris Grand Prix in second place, which earned him €60,000. The world number four had in the end of last year two additional talants in his stables. Carlina's owner bought him another horse. The horse was last seasons six year old French champion. In 17 out of 17 competitions, the six year old had zero faults and earned the title "Championne de France". In addition, he also acquired an eight year old Hannoverian mare called Graciella. This horse won the junior Grand Prix at Neuendorf for the owner's daughter. This horse was competed successfully as a young horse by Karl Brocks(GER).
