The German Markus Ehning with Plot Blue was the big winner in the Longines Grand Prix of Switzerland.

In the main competition of the CSIO he won in front of the 38 year old Tim Stockdale (GBR) with Kalico Bay and his compatriot Christian Ahlmann with Codex One. Only three had two clear rounds.

Behind these three riders Steve Guerdat and his eleven year old Holstein gelding Carpalo where best Swiss finishing as fourth.

The time limit of 80 seconds played a main role in the Grand Prix. Only 18 managed to stay within the time in the first round. Marcus Ehning, whose horse Plot Blue is owned by the Swiss Kathrin Somogyi, got the firstPl prize winning money of 50’000 Euro.

The special price of 15’000 Swiss Francs for the best rider of the tournament, the Longines Trophy, was won by the Swiss Werner Muff.
