Maikel van der Vleuten(NED) was top of the class today when he captured first place in the Leipzig CSI5*-W 1.50M(with jump-off) with Stoeterij Duyselshof ‘s VDL Groep Zandorra(Zandor x Kalypso). The 9 year old bay ZANG mare jumped double clear in a time of 39.19 in the jump-off, which earned the pair a new car. Van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Zandorra were also first in the Asten CSI2* Grand Prix (Table A- 6/10/11).

In second place, was Denis Lynch(IRL) and Thomas Straumann’s Abbervail van het Dingeshof(Nonstop x Jus de Pomme). The 12 year old bay BWP gelding jumped double clear in a time of 40.37 in the jump-off. They also were second in Verona CSI5*-W(Accumulator-3/11/2011) and Lyon CSI5*-W(3/11/2011).

In third place was Rolf Moormann(GER) and his 9 year old chestnut HANN mare Acorte(Acorado x Stakkato). The pair jumped double clear with a time of 40.97 in the jump-off.

There were 49 starters with 8 clears through to the jump-off. Of the eight there were 5 double clears.
