Last chance for riders to accumulate points for World Cup & Olympic qualification

This coming weekend is the last chance for riders to gain valuable points for the World Cup finals in 's-Hertogenbosch (NED) from 18-22 April 2012. Many riders are on the verge of qualifying but need just a few more points to ensure their place in the final. Germany’s Philipp Weishaupt, Belgium’s Rik Hemeryck & Ludo Philippaerts, Ireland’s Dermott Lennon & Billy Twomey and wild cards Angelica Augustsson from Sweden & Alvaro de Miranda from Brazil.

This is also a very important weekend for individual riders trying to qualify for the London Olympics in August.

The remaining five individual slots will be given to riders from FEI Olympic Groups A and B (North and South Western Europe), and C (Central and Eastern Europe; Central Asia) selected through the FEI Olympic Athletes Ranking for jumping on 1st March, 2012.
