Following his depart to France, where he won another win in an international competition with his rider Nicolas Delmotte, it was decided between Delmotted and the owners(the Dubaille family) to retire him from international competition and to send him to stud. "When we went to look for him at Jan Tops, firstly we wanted to know where he was... and if he was physically fit. Since we have been looking at Hooligan in Jan Tops, we called more than once in the last few months than we had done during the five years that that Hooligan had spent at Tops. We hesitated a little to give or sell him to a junior to finish his career... but finally we preferred to buy half of the horse for Jan Tops and offer him a happy retirement and hope that he lives to tell another beautiful story with a career as a stallion. For now, he enjoys his retirement with his breeder, Sylvain Bregeault in Normandy with whom we had been in contact with since we bought him and it was the wish of my husband. He will be close to us from March to August where he will be stationed at the Genoa Distribution who will handle the distribution of the semen. "Isabelle Dubaille explained.
